Scholarship Overview

The Monib Foundation awards scholarships to graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated verified memorization of the Qur’an and meaningful knowledge of its teachings, and who plan to pursue higher education through a college, university, trade school, vocational school, or other eligible postsecondary program. Applications must be complete and submitted by the published deadline.

Section 7. Letters of Recommendation

Please have two letters of recommendation sent directly to monibfoundation@gmail.com.

At least one letter must be from someone who can evaluate the student’s academic ability, such as a core subject teacher, tutor, co-op instructor, or college/dual-enrollment instructor.
Neither letter may be written by a parent or guardian.
The second letter may come from another teacher, coach, employer, community leader, mentor, or other adult who knows the student well.
The student’s full name must appear in the email subject line.
